With guidance from Tecsys experts, A.M.G. Medical continues to optimize these tools to stay ahead of industry demands. In turn, Tecsys actively works with forward-thinking organizations like A.M.G. Advice to others
When asked for advice to other companies in the healthcare product manufacturing and distribution space when it comes to digital transformation of warehouse and supply chain operations, Jonathan highlighted three areas.

User adoption and training
“We’ve learned over the years the importance of investing in our people, so they know how to use our Tecsys solutions to their greatest advantage. Investing in staff training up front pays off in dividends. If you try to save a few thousand dollars by skimping on training, subsequent issues will cost you a great deal more money to remedy them.”

Continuous improvement
“And then revisit your use of your solutions, whether it is three or six months after implementation,” Dankner continued. “We are always in continuous improvement mode, meaning we facilitate additional trainings to refine how we are using our systems. There is always an opportunity to learn more. Even after all these years using the Elite™ system, we are probably taking advantage of maybe half the potential these technologies can deliver.”

Peer insights
Lastly, he recommends operations professionals speak with colleagues in peer organizations who are using Elite™ in their day-to-day work lives. He stated:
“Try to find someone in a similar type of business using the same Elite™ features and functions. We took part in Tecsys’ Itopia® User Group and it was great because we could ask other users questions about specific situations and there were no surprises post implementation.”
